More than 140 regional artists will exhibit work in Expressions 2018, an open-entry exhibit on display May 19 – July 20, 2018 at Piedmont Arts.

Presented annually by Lynwood Artists and Piedmont Arts, Expressions is a judged exhibition that awards artists with prizes in seven entry categories, as well as purchase awards, the Lynwood Artists Award and Best In Show. This year’s exhibition was judged by Kimberly C. Piland, Exhibition Coordinator at Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia.

“It was an honor to have the opportunity to serve as judge for Expressions,” said Piland, who is a graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School. "I was elated by the sheer volume of artists participating and entries which lined the walls of the galleries when I arrived to review submissions. I want all of the artists to know that the amazing amount of talent made it very difficult to determine placement.”
