To be displayed in The Harvest Foundation of the Piedmont Great Hall, Clues to the Past provides insight into the field of archaeology including the scientific processes, excavation methods, and methods for forming the resulting conclusions. The exhibit shows how scientists use clues from the past to gain knowledge about how people lived and provides four case studies relevant to the Commonwealth of Virginia.
