Checker's Mutt Strut and Charity Bike Ride: Saturday, April 10, at the Martinsville Speedway, with guest host Josie from 107.5KZL. Participate in a 50-mile, 30-mile, or 12-mile road ride, 1-hour track ride, or 1-hour Mutt Strut! Registration: 8 a.m.; 50-mile bike ride:9 a.m.; all other bike rides:10 a.m.; mutt strut: 11 a.m.; and picnic with your pet:noon. Registration is $15, children 7 and under get in free. Pay tribute to animals that have made a difference in your life by purchasing a "memorial plant," either a Pussywillow or a Dogwood, one for $8, 2 for $15. Plants also will be available at the Speedway for purchase and a decorating station will be set up. Great prizes will go to top fundraising team and individual.
