Provides an overview of beading which covers different beading techniques, different types of beads, the differences of metals, different tools and when to use them, and supplies. The class provides students with step-by-step instructions on the different ways to create and close off a piece of jewelry using stretch elastic, memory wire, multiple strands, lariats, and strung pieces. The techniques can be used to create limitless original pieces. This class gives students both a practical knowledge base and ideas on how to spark their imaginations to express themselves creatively.
