Virginia's Natural Wonder Museum features Staurolite Crystals (Fairystones) and various gems & minerals. Fairystones are rock formations in the shape of a cross. Visit our museum to see this natural wonder and miracle of creation. Our collection includes fairystones from Virginia, Georgia, New Mexico, Australia and Russia.
People have been hunting fairystones for more than 100 years. If you're interested in finding your very own treasure, we'll take a trip to Fairystone State Park and hunt fairystones together. All of our fairystone exhibits are accompanied with historical facts and are displayed to show their variety in size as well as shape. We also have jewelry, DVD's, cookbooks & other items available.
