2nd Annual Uptown Music Fest
Come join the summer fun with the MWW Foundation and the Virginia Museum of Natural History for the 2nd Annual Uptown Music Fest! Bring your chair, relax, and enjoy a live music concert with George Hodges, Matt Crowder, Martin and Kelly, and The Magnificent's Band! Food and beverage vendors will be on site including Hugo's Restaurant & Sports Bar, Bahama Sno Shack, Childress Vineyards, Scuffle Hill Brewing Company and Mountain Valley Brewing.

Uptown Music Fest takes place at 21 Starling Ave, Martinsville at the Virginia Museum of Natural History. Uptown Music Fest is a fundraising event by the Matthew Wayne Wade (MWW) Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that gives back to the community by donating proceeds to a charity each year in the community and surrounding area.
Uptown Music Fest is sponsored by The Lester Group, Southern Virginia Properties, Sabin Law Office, PC., New South Metals, Chip Wyatt-State Farm Agent, BTW 21, Hugo's Restaurant & Sports Bar, Sounddawgs Production, LLC., Uptown Martinsville Farmers' Market and the Virginia Museum of Natural History.
Rockin' River Fest Weekend
Rockin' River Fest Weekend is jam packed with concerts, activities, games and more for the whole family! Package includes admission to TGIF August 19th 7pm-10:30pm, Smith River Fest August 20th 10am-4pm, and Uptown Music Fest August 20th 7pm-11pm. Featuring The Kings at TGIF, DJ What, Andy & Jake, Glen Shelton, Joseph Young the Illusionist, Yoga Pop, and the Blue Ridge Duck Race presented by Boys and Girls Club of the Blue Ridge at Smith River Fest, George Hodges, Matt Crowder, Martin and Kelly, and the Magnificents Band at Uptown Music Fest! There will also be food and beverage vendors at each Rockin' River Fest event!
This combined ticket includes admission into each event, one free pour at each event, a silipint, and a Rockin" River Fest t-shirt! Rockin' River Fest tickets available at www.bgcbr.org or through Eventbrite! $30 admission covers entry into ALL to all three events and Rockin' River Fest merch to take home!
