65th Anniversary Ticket Special

To help kick Martinsville Speedway's 65th anniversary celebration into high gear heading into the TUMS Fast Relief 500 on October 28, the track is offering fans an anniversary special.

For $65, fans may purchase prime seats for the TUMS Fast Relief 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race and receive a free pre-race track walk on race morning that will get them a close look at pit road as they walk along the front stretch of the historic track.

"This is the first of many things we are planning as we get closer to a huge anniversary celebration on the TUMS Fast Relief 500 weekend," said Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell. "We want to make sure everybody has a chance to join us for the celebration. It's going to be a great weekend with amazing racing and lots of good times looking back at the past here at Martinsville Speedway."
The seats for the $65 anniversary special are in the Sprint Tower (Rows 15-48), Old Dominion Tower or South Terrace.

Fans may take advantage of the 65th anniversary package by calling 877.722.3849 or ordering online at www.martinsvillespeedway.com. The offer is valid through August 17 or while supplies last.

About the Photo: This was perhaps the greatest finish in the 65-year history of Martinsville Speedway. After a day of close racing in the Modified portion of the 1981 Dogwood 500, Richie Evans (61) and Geoff Bodine wrecked coming out of the fourth turn on the final lap and continued wrecking to the start-finish line. Evans bounced off the fence to win; Bodine spun across the line for second.
