New Year, New You, New Mindset

It’s the beginning of a New Year and for some, it’s the beginning of a long list of New Year resolutions. As for myself, my list is always full of new goals to work on and to hopefully achieve within that year. One of the top things on my 2015 list is to take extraordinary care of my body and mind through the practice of yoga. In my search for local yoga classes and practices, I stumbled upon a beautiful facility in Uptown Martinsville called Just Breathe Yoga and Bodywork. I attended one of the free community classes this January and was amazed by my overall experience. The breathtaking view I had while participating is a must see. Their yoga classes are held on the second floor of the facility with a large glass window overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. The staff was also very helpful and made sure that everyone was assisted properly. They also created an overwhelmingly positive and welcoming atmosphere that has drawn me in for the long run.
As we all know, the mind controls all aspects of the body. Our body and mind work together as a whole to keep us healthy both mentally and physically.
