First Corn Hole Tournament in Series this Saturday

The first of five tournaments in the Blood, Sweat, and Ears Corn Hole Tournament Series presented by the Smith River Sports Complex (SRSC) will take place this Sat., April 11.
New for 2015 is free spectator admission, a free kids fun zone provided by King Kidz Fun Rentals, and food from Chick-fil-A will be available for purchase. Also, there will be a 50/50 raffle and adult beverages for purchase from Lawrence Distributing Company.
The tournament will start at 7 p.m. with sign in/registration being held from 6 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Registration for the entire series will be $120 per team in the professional division and $80 per team in the amateur division. Early registration for individual tournaments will be $30 per team in the professional division and $20 per team in amateur. The fee will go up $10 in each division the day of the event.

The series consists of five corn hole tournaments will be on the following dates in 2015: April 11, May 9, June 20, July 11 and Aug. 22. The rain dates will be on the following: April 18, May 30, June 27, July 18 and Aug. 29. A championship tournament will be played immediately after the fifth regular tournament on Aug. 22.
During the regular tournaments the Pro Division will win higher payouts than Amateurs. All 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers in both divisions will automatically be entered in one pool for the Championship Tournament. The Championship Tournament will play immediately after the Aug. 22 regular tournament where 1st place will win $500, 2nd place $200 & 3rd place $50.
The proceeds from this event will go towards the Friends of the Complex (FOC) program which is the SRSC's annual fundraising campaign.
