The inaugural My MartinsvilleSM party, which followed the Kroger 250 on Saturday night of the STP 500 weekend, was one of the many benefits of being a member of the speedway’s exclusive members-only My MartinsvilleSM. Special guests included Rusty Wallace, Brad Keselowski, Kroger 250 race winner Joey Logano, Tyler Reddick, Miss Sprint and Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell. There was also live music, free snacks and plenty of giveaways.
The second My MartinsvilleSM with a similar lineup of guests, events and food is scheduled to follow the Kroger 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on October 31.
“We have always known that we have the best fans in NASCAR and we wanted to come up with a way to show them how much we appreciate them, so we started the My MartinsvilleSM program,” Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell said. “What we didn’t know was how many fans would be contacting us after the STP 500 asking how they could join. In order to give all of our fans the opportunity to be a part of it, we wanted to extend the enrollment period by a full week.”
The inaugural weekend of the My MartinsvilleSM program was overwhelmingly popular with participants.
“Just a note of appreciation for the My MartinsvilleSM party after the truck race on Saturday,” said one My MartinsvilleSMmember in an email after the STP 500 weekend. “Our family truly enjoyed the entertainment, the driver interviews and the delicious food that was provided. We have been enjoying Martinsville Speedway for over 20 years and as always this was a fun weekend for our entire family. Thank you once again for the My MartinsvilleSM party.”
In addition to the My MartinsvilleSM party, members get to enter the track through members-only gates, get a hard-card and lanyard and receive the best prices on race tickets.
