The event will feature live music by Donnie Fitzgerald, free garden rock painting and, of course, Mountain Valley’s selection of craft beer, which is made on-site using the brewery’s own homegrown hops. In support of Piedmont Arts’ programs and events, Mountain Valley Brewing will donate 10% of the night’s proceeds to the museum.
“The best part of operating a small business is in having the opportunity to give back to the non-profit organizations that make MHC a great place to live,” said Peggy Donivan who owns Mountain Valley Brewing with her husband Herb Atwell.
“When we thought of CRAFT x CRAFT, we knew Mountain Valley Brewing would be the perfect place to hold the inaugural event,” said Education Coordinator Becki Williams Vasquez. “They had already planned a music night and when we asked to participate, they said the more the merrier!”
“We love partnering with Peggy and Herb at Mountain Valley,” said Director of Marketing, Communications and Design Bernadette Moore. “They have taken part in several Piedmont Arts fundraisers and we are excited to partner again for CRAFT x CRAFT. If you haven’t visited the brewery yet, or if you are an old friend, this is a great event to experience what Mountain Valley has to offer and to support an amazing local business and the arts.”
CRAFT x CRAFT is free of charge and open to all ages. Beer and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. For more info, visit PiedmontArts.org.
