Virginia Living’s eighth annual Best of Virginia Readers’ Survey, which opened Jan. 3, has earned more than 3,000 votes in its first two days alone. Readers across the state have voted in 107 categories covering the best in Arts, Culture & Entertainment, Living & Recreation, Shopping, Services, and Food & Drink in all five Virginia regions: Central, Eastern, Northern, Shenandoah Valley, and Southwest.
Best of Virginia 2019 is the guide to everything from the best shopping mall in Northern Virginia and the best barbecue restaurant in the Southwest, to the best hotel in Eastern Virginia, the best hospital in Central Virginia, and the best outdoor adventure in the Shenandoah Valley. First, second and third place winners are determined entirely by voting results. This year’s issue, Living the Wild Life, celebrates all creatures, great and small. Best of Virginia 2019 hits newsstands May 16.
