Piedmont Arts annual fundraiser, Savory September: 50 Years of LOVE, will flash back to 1969 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Commonwealth's slogan, “Virginia is for Lovers.”
This groovy party for the arts will also celebrate the foods that Virginia made famous by featuring Virginia-themed dishes by local chefs, creative cocktails and an open bar. Themed attire is encouraged, but not required.
“Piedmont Arts hosts Savory September every fall and this year’s theme is sure to make for a fun time and great food,” said Executive Director Heidi Pinkston. “Everyone knows Virginia’s slogan, ‘Virginia is for Lovers’, and Savory September is a fun way to celebrate the Commonwealth while supporting the arts and sampling delicious dishes by our local chefs.”
