The Smith River Sports Complex (SRSC) will host the NCAA Division III USA South Conference’s Fall Sports Festival Championships this weekend, November 7th & 8th.

Men’s and Women’s Soccer will play at the Smith River Sports Complex while Women’s Volleyball will take place in William F. Stone Hall on Patrick Henry Community College's (PHCC) campus.

There will be four Men’s Soccer, four Women’s Soccer and eight Women’s Volleyball teams coming to the area to play for the championships.

This tournament is the culmination of Conference play and the champions in each sport receive a bid to the NCAA tournament.  The regular seasons have been very competitive in all three sports coming to Martinsville.  This is the sixth year the Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championships have been hosted at SRSC and the third year that SRSC has partnered with PHCC to host Volleyball at Stone Hall.

The teams will arrive Thursday, November 6th and will have the opportunity to practice. Later that night, the SRSC will host a banquet at the National Guard Armory in recognition of the 2014 USA South fall season.

This weekend's tournament schedule is as follows:

Men's Soccer Tournament – Friday @ SRSC

12:00 PM - #5 Maryville vs. #1 Greensboro

2:00 PM - #3 NC Wesleyan vs. #2 Covenant

Women's Soccer Tournament – Friday @ SRSC

5:00 PM - #4 Maryville vs. #1 Meredith

7:30 PM - #7 NC Wesleyan vs. #3 Methodist

Volleyball Tournament – Friday @ PHCC  Stone Hall

1:00 PM - #5 Greensboro vs. #1 Maryville

3:00 PM - #3 Piedmont vs. #2 Averett

5:00 PM - #4 William Peace vs. #1 Meredith

7:00 PM - #3 Methodist vs. #2 Covenant

Men’s Soccer Championship – 2:00 PM – Saturday @ SRSC

Women’s Soccer Championship – 5:00 PM – Saturday @SRSC

Volleyball Semi-Finals – 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM - Saturday @ PHCC Stone Hall

Championship – 6:00 PM – Saturday @ PHCC Stone Hall

Any youth under the age of 18 that is a part of a local soccer or volleyball team (PYSL, travel, high school or middle school, etc.) can receive free admission to the 2014 Fall Sports Festival by wearing their jersey.  Show up in your jersey on Friday or Saturday at either location or watch some amazing high quality college sports competition at no cost to you!  Smith River T-Ball participants can also get in free by wearing their previous year jersey or hat.

Tickets for each day will be $5 dollars for adults and $2 dollars for children/senior citizens and $8 weekend passes will be available.
