Ferris Bueller’s Day Off at Rives Theatre

Arts at The Rives Theatre and Community Storehouse of Martinsville and Henry County will be partnering to bring you a back-to-school celebration at The Rives Theatre on Saturday, August 4th. The celebration will include a food drive supporting the Community Storehouse’s Food for Kids: School Backpack Program, so be sure to show your support and bring non-perishable items to fill the backpacks! Cuz’s Hotdogs, Hamburger & More will be set up outside the theatre to serve up your some of your favorite summer treats. And last, but not least, a showing of the 1986 cult classic, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, written, co-produced and directed by John Hughes will be shown on the BIG screen.

This event is fun for the entire family and is FREE and open to the public with a suggested donation price of $5. Seats are on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure to get there early to enjoy the festivities and reserve your seat. Doors will open at 2pm with the movie beginning at 3pm.
