Fight for the 2012 Fall Sports Festival Title

The college teams that will be competing at the Smith River Sports Complex (SRSC) and Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC) for the NCAA Division III USA South Athletic Conference's Championships on November 2nd-3rd, 2012 have been announced. 

This is the fourth year that the USA South Athletic Conference will have its' soccer championship in the area and the first year for their volleyball championship creating the title of Fall Sports Festival.

Men's and Women's Soccer will be played at the Smith River Sports Complex while Women's Volleyball will play at William F. Stone Hall at Patrick Henry Community College.

Men's Soccer

The first semifinal contest will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, at SRSC as Christopher Newport will battle Greensboro. In semifinal game number two at 2:30 p.m., Methodist will take on Averett. The winners of the two games will compete for the tournament title on Saturday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m.

Women's Soccer

In semifinal game number one at 5:00 p.m., Meredith will battle Averett at SRSC. In semifinal number two at 7:30 p.m., Christopher Newport will take on the Maryville. The winners of the two games will compete for the tournament title on Saturday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m.

Women's Volleyball

The 2012 Volleyball Tournament will consist of the top-eight teams in the Conference and begin on Friday, November 2 in Martinsville, Virginia. All tournament contests will be played at Martinsville's Patrick Henry Community College. The matches will take place in Stone Hall on the Patrick Henry campus. Both the semifinals and final will take place on Saturday, November 3.
