Meet a Martinsville Insider, Rick Martin. Most any afternoon you'll find Rick at Baseball Heaven doing what he loves- talking about baseball and teaching kids the fundamentals of the sport. Baseball Heaven is an indoor baseball, softball and golf training facility that Rick co-owns with business partner Wally Clark. The business provides a training space for baseball and softball teams ranging from t-ball to college level, as well as batting cages open to the public. Baseball Heaven is the perfect venue to  host your next birthday party and is a safe place for teens ages 13-16 to hangout during Teen Nites offered in the winter months. Where do you take friends and family when they come to town?

"During the summer we always go to the Mustangs games. Almost all year round we play golf; my favorite course is Forest Park." 

What is the best part of raising a family in Martinsville-Henry County?

"Living in Martinsville is nice because you have the feel of a small town with larger cities close by. You have short trips to the mountains or the beach. The cost of living is much less than most other places in the country."

Cool Fact: Former Atlanta Braves pro-baseball player and Mustangs stand-out Casey Hodges has recently used Baseball Heaven's facilities as a training location for youth teams!
