What places do your kids like to visit and why?

"My sons are all grown and married, but both of my sons love to Disc Golf at Frank Wilson Memorial Park."

What is the best-kept secret in Martinsville-Henry County?

"The best-kept secret is our history, not just the past 100 years, but further back than that. The plantation homes that we have still existing are beautiful places to visit. We have Indian heritage in Martinsville-Henry County. Henry County was established first and then Martinsville grew from that. We also have a lot of Haunted Legends around our area!"

 What's the best part of raising a family in Martinsville-Henry County?

"I love the quietness of this area. The big cities are so hectic and have too much traffic. I believe we have friendly people here in the small town/country atmosphere."

What are you top Martinsville- Henry County dining spots and why?

"Captain Tom's for the seafood, Elizabeth's Pizza for Italian food, El Norteno for Mexican and Fenderz for great burgers and shakes."

"Uptown and local mom-n-pop stores are the best! I love to support anything that is not a chain because I love the personal service you get, better quality and the money stays local."
