Music Night at Spencer Penn Centre to feature the Marshall Brothers

Music Night at Spencer-Penn Centre is Friday, March 10.  Doors open at 5pm.  Open MIC is at 5:30, bring your instrument and join the group.  At 6:20, The Shelton Brothers will take the stage for some great bluegrass music. The Over The Hill Gang will be on at 7:10 with some great dancing music.  The Marshall Brothers & High Road is on at 8:00.   It’s sure to be a great night of music and dancing.  Dust off your dancing shoes, grab a friend and come hungry.  Concessions will be available.  A $4 donation is requested for admission.  Call the Centre for more information, 276-957-5757

In 1997, Steve Marshall and brother Eric, started playing together as a church based gospel bluegrass band that has since developed into a well rounded traditional bluegrass band. Although the songs change and grow, they never lost sight of where they started and try to present a nice mix of secular and gospel songs. The band personnel has changed over the years as well including many talented musicians and vocalists. The current lineup includes: 

Steve Marshall - mandolin & guitar, Lead, Tenor, & Harmony vocals 
Eric Marshall – banjo, Lead & Harmony vocals . 
Ben Marshall – bass, Lead & Tenor vocals
