Celebrate Earth Day!
Get up, get out, and enjoy the great outdoors during the FREE 2014 Earth Day Family Festival on April 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Smith River Sports Complex! The festival will feature a plethora of games, crafts and activities throughout the day, as well as live music by Kim and Jimbo Cary, featuring all naturally made instruments!
The festival is presented by the Virginia Museum of Natural History and the Smith River Sports Complex. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. The rain date is Sunday, April 27 from 1 to 4 p.m.
US Club Soccer Tryouts
All clubs & individuals are invited to the US Club Soccer tryouts being held this Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Smith River Sports Complex hosted by the Piedmont Youth Soccer League.
Tryouts are for the following age brackets:
U-11 Girls
U-11 Boys
U-15 Boys
U-16 Boys

Corn Hole
The April 12th kick off tournament for the Autos by Nelson Corn Hole Tournament Series was a blast!
The next tournament will be May 17th and you can register early to save $10 on your registration fee by clicking here.
Congrats to the following teams for placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their divisions: Hate Your Loss, T & L, Woolwine Warriors, Team Fortner, Gorillaz and The Brotherhood.
They are automatically entered into the championship tournament where the winner will receive $500!
