October is Virginia Wine Month

Stop by the Martinsville-Henry County Visitor Center for your complementary copy of the 2012 Virginia Winery Guide and begin your exploration of Virginia's 210 wineries.
While in our area:
- Preston Ridge Winery, located in Martinsville, offers a nice selection of table wines and fruit wines. Their tasting room is open on Fridays and Saturdays or you can visit visit their booth at Oktoberfest this weekend to pick up a bottle or two of your favorite varietal of wine.
- Tomahawk Mill Winery of Chatham, Virginia will be at Binding Time Cafe' this Friday night for An Evening of Renaissance Music and Wine with Camden Consort.
- Chatmoss Country Club is a participating program member of Virginia Wine Month.
