Open Door Tour in the City of Martinsville and Across Henry County

April 8-17, 2016 

Along the trail, experience Artist Studios, Farms and Markets, Museums and Cultural Sites, Demonstrations, Tastings, Tours, Music and so much more!

Trout-filled rivers, quiet lakes and gentle mountains surround this beautiful location that’s full of rich history. Home to some of the finest recreational and cultural activities in the country, Martinsville-Henry County is proud of our excellent medical facilities, innovative school systems and advantageous housing opportunities. The climate is just right for those who enjoy all four seasons with cool winters and pleasant summers. And with a scenic backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains, spring is simply breathtaking. Aside from our beautiful location, rich history, and quality of life, the true key to our community is the people. In Martinsville-Henry County, Virginia you, too, will find that warm and friendly people seem to be one of our strongest assets.

Make & Take – A mini pillow case that can be used to hold a travel size pillow or for a favorite 18” doll to rest her head on. All materials provided and will help you the entire way using our Babylock sewing machines and sergers. Each participant will receive printed directions for the mini pillow case as well as a standard size pillow case to take home along with their completed pillow case. (Free)
