Patriot Players Set Auditions for Music from the Movies

The PHCC Patriot Players have scheduled auditions for 'Music From the Movies: 80s & 90s Revue' in the Walker Fine Arts/Student Center theatre on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 11am-1pm.

Performances are scheduled for July 23-25 at 7 p.m. and July 26 at 2 p.m. 

“Come “Say a Little Prayer," "Jump Around," and have the "Time of Your Life" with the PHCC Patriot Players as we showcase music from the movies of the 80s & 90s! We will have you shouting, "I Believe I Can Fly" as you are "Free Fallin'" from the "Love Rollercoaster",” Patriot Players Artistic Director Devin Pendleton said.

Those auditioning are encouraged to bring 16 bars of song, or roughly one verse, and one chorus. An accompanist will be provided, or performers may sing "a cappella." Performers must be at least 13 years old to audition. To schedule an audition time, or if to learn about working backstage, email phccpatriotplayers@patrickhenry.edu.
