PYSL Hosts Summer Soccer Camp

The Piedmont Youth Soccer League (PYSL) will host a soccer camp this summer at the Smith River Sports Complex (SRSC). The Challenger Sports' British Soccer Camp will take place June 16th - June 20th.

Challenger Sports' British Soccer Camp claims to be the most popular soccer camp in the country. Hundreds of Challenger coaches each year have helped the company develop one of the most innovative approaches to coaching youth soccer in the United States. Their experienced staff study the games at all levels and have identified the key techniques and skills that players need to work on and master to reach their true potential.

Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a daily World Cup tournament.

Ages 3-4 will be in the First Kicks group which will last from 10:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. and the cost is $107.00. 4-6 year olds will be in the Mini Soccer group where their sessions will last from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and the cost is $121.00. The Half Day Camp will cost $156.00 for 6-16 year olds and will last from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The Full Day Camp will cost $211.00 for 8 - 16 years olds and will last from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
