Spencer-Penn Centre Hosts 11th Photography Exhibit and Competition

In April, Spencer-Penn Centre continues its photography exhibit and competition which began in 2009.  The event highlights the work of local amateur photographers in ten categories of competition:  portraits, landscapes, still life, humor, children, digitally manipulated, animals, floral, human interest, and Spencer-Penn Centre remembered.   Black and white and color entries in following categories are judged separately:  portraits, landscapes, children, animals, floral, and human interest.   The work of experienced and beginner photographers  is judged separately.  One entry is allowed in each category per person.

Entries will be accepted March 30 and 31 at the Centre from 2 until 7 each day.  A fee of $1 per entry with a maximum of $10 per photographer will be charged.  The entries will be judged on April 1 and on display starting April 2 and remaining throughout the month.

The exhibit will be open to the public daily from 9 to 5 and during special events at the Centre such as Music Night on April 10 and the Pig Cooking on April 11.
