Intro to Beaded Jewelry
The Introduction to Beading Class is a well-rounded overview of beading which covers different beading techniques available, different types of beads, the differences of metals, different tools and when to use them, and supplies. The class provides students with step-by-step instructions on the different ways to create and close off a piece of jewelry using stretch elastic, memory wire, multiple strands, lariats, and strung pieces. The techniques can be used to create limitless original pieces. This class gives students both a practical knowledge base, and ideas on how to spark their imaginations to express themselves creatively.

Intro to Stained Glass
This class explores the history and techniques of stained glass. Students will produce stained glass samples using traditional joining techniques.

Nuts & Bolts of your Digital Camera
Do you have a digital camera but not sure what all of those buttons mean? Let professional photographer, Ricky Dawson help you understand your camera by learning how the menu and buttons affect your camera and images. Students will also learn how to improve the quality of their images. Students will need to bring their own camera.

Quilting 101
This class is for those students who want to learn how to start and finish a quilt and learn new tips and tricks for piecing, hand sewing and machine quilting. Students will complete a sampler project to show off their new skills. Supply list will be available upon registration.

Advanced Quilting Techniques
This class is for the experienced quilter. Open lab for completing assignments or individual designs and to work in a self-paced, supportive and creative environment. Teaching staff will assist with ideas, motivation, suggestions and techniques. Prerequisite: four sessions of Quilting 101 or instructor approval. Students must purchase own supplies.

Decorative Painting
Explore the basics of color and simple decorative painting techniques to enhance your home decor. Bring color and fabric samples along with a small piece of furniture such as a plant stand, occasional table or chair (anything that you can easily pick up and maneuver). You will learn how to prepare the surface, choose colors and paints, sketch your design, stencil, and antique, create faux marble or stone, and seal for a durable surface.

Basic Glass Fusing
Students will learn the basics of glass fusing. Students will learn to cut glass, select the correct types of glass, and design a project. They will learn how to prepare the molds and kiln for firing as well as the basics of kiln firing. Each student will make several small pieces, such as tiles, coasters and/or sun-catchers.

Intro to Hand-Building Pottery
This pottery class will explore all of the fundamental hand building techniques, both ancient and modern. Includes coil pots, pinch pots, slab work and sculpture. A great class for beginners looking to get their hands dirty, as well as the experienced potter, looking for some new skills to add to their repertoire.

Knitting II
In this class students will advance their knitting skills in pattern reading, advanced stitches, and cabling. Students will bring in intermediate to advanced patterns and yarn for projects you want to start and the instructor will assist with your project. Students will also learn to seam garment pieces together as well as measuring and altering a pattern.

Intro to Woodturning
This class is for students will little or no previous woodturning experience. Students will learn the safety and functions of lathes and all essential tools used in woodturning. Face plate and spindle (between centers) turning will be taught. Students should expect to finish at least four projects to take home and enjoy!

Herbs for Stress
The holidays are over. You're broke, bloated and blue. We can't do anything about the money, but we can introduce you to some ways to help clean out your system and brighten your outlook through the use of herbs. Session will include discussion and hands-on activity.
