Support Your Local Businesses During Social Distancing
During this time of fluid change, a lot of small businesses find themselves having to either close their doors or adjust their hours and staff. If we all do our part, we can ease the burden on our communities and shine a little light in MHC. Love your favorite local stores, but don't know how to help in the midst of COVID-19? We have a few suggestions:
- Order ahead to avoid lines
- Buy meals from your local restaurants now and freeze for later
- Buy a gift card now for later use to support the business today
- Support our local businesses who offer online shopping
- Shop during slower traffic hours
Martinsville-Henry county has a wide variety of restaurants, stores, and attractions to meet our needs, and these local businesses rely on community support to survive. Be sure to shop local as much as possible during these times. Support what we have today so it is strong tomorrow.
