What do you like about the SRSC photo contest!

July 22, 2013 Martinsville, VA: The Smith River Sports Complex (SRSC) is excited to announce a summer Facebook photo contest! The contest began on Friday July 19th and will end on Wednesday July 31st. The contest is designed to showcase different types of activities available at the Complex. The winners will be awarded first, second, and third place prizes.

To enter, simply email your favorite photo taken at the Complex to SmithRiverPhotos@Gmail.com. Along with your photo, include an “I like the SRSC because…” statement. The SRSC staff will choose the most creative statement and will award the winner a special prize. Photos will be available for viewing on the SRSC Facebook page. In order to win, your photo must have the most traffic, i.e. ‘likes’, shares and comments.

First place winners will be awarded a free kayak, canoe, or tube trip for two down the Smith River courtesy of Smith River Outfitters, a free 2-hour SRSC party rental in the meeting room or a picnic shelter, 3 Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC) t-shirts of your choice, 3 Taco Bell Combo Coupons, and a $10 Dippers Ice Cream coupon. Second place will receive a free 2-hour SRSC party rental in a picnic shelter, 2 PHCC t-shirts, 2 Taco Bell Combo Coupons, and an SRSC baseball hat. The third place winner will receive a free 2-hour SRSC party rental in a picnic shelter, 1 PHCC t-shirt, and 1 Taco Bell Combo Coupon.

With only one entry per person, submit your favorite photo and have your friends and family ‘like’ your photo on Facebook. You can also upload your photo to Twitter by tagging the Complex, @SmithRiverSport. Also, tag us on Instagram at @SmithRiverSportsComplex. The more your photo is circulated, the greater chance you have at winning one of the three prizes.
