March will be a great month for Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel. Open Mic: 5:30; Timbre Trail at 6:20 and at 7:40 Marshall Brothers and High Road.
Timbre Trail will be joining us for the first time at Spencer Penn . Band members include: Junior Cassady on guitar and vocals, Billy Cox on mandolin and vocals, Darren Davidson on fiddle and vocals, Jerry Jones on upright bass and vocals, Darrell McCumbers on banjo and vocals, and Glenn Paschal on banjo/ snare drum and occasionally on upright bass.
Marshall Brother and High Road began with brothers Steve and Eric Marshall playing together as a church based gospel bluegrass band and has since developed into a well rounded traditional bluegrass band. The current lineup includes:
Steve Marshall , mandolin & guitar ; Eric Marshall, banjo; Patrick Lindsey, guitar & mandolin ; and Ben Marshall, bass
Concessions are delicious; featuring hotdogs, BBQ, homemade desserts, chicken salad sandwiches and of course pinto beans with cornbread.
