“George Washington is often looked at as a stiff, remote, and humorless founding father. But, upon examination, he was human with both sterling qualities and others which were less attractive. This program examines his concern for his appearance, his dental problems, his love for dogs and horses, his love of dance, his relationship with the enslaved at Mount Vernon and other aspects of his life. ”
Bob Vogler, President of the local Colonel George Waller chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will present this different perspective on our first president.
