The BlackBox Theatre, located at 44 Franklin Street in Uptown Martinsville, is home to the TheatreWorks Community Players. The theatre has 120 seats that are usually sold out before every production. Past productions include Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast, 9-5 and Chicago.

The BlackBox Theatre brings a taste of Broadway to Martinsville-Henry County, Virginia with energizing productions and amazing performances by the TheatreWorks Community Players.
