Bonez & Booz, the family-friendly Halloween and Fall Festival, returns to the Virginia Museum of Natural History on Saturday, October 26, 2024 with a wickedly awesome lineup of fire and LED performances, magic shows, stilt walkers, carnival games, costume contests, food trucks, a beer garden, and so much more! Costumes encouraged! Fun required!

Carnival games take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Magic shows are scheduled to take place from 5 to 5:30 p.m. and 9 to 9:25 p.m. Fire and LED performances are scheduled from 7 to 7:25 p.m. and 8 to 8:25 p.m. All other experiences are scheduled to take place throughout the event. Experiences designated with ($) denotes offerings that require an extra fee beyond admission.
Costume Contests
The ever-popular Bonez & Booz costume contests will be offered again in 2024! Contests are limited to 25 participants per age group and pre-registration is REQUIRED at least 30 minutes prior to each age group’s start time. Pre-registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and will take place at the souvenir T-shirt station located near the general admission gate. Age groups and start times are as follows:
Ages 0 to 5 (5:30 p.m.)
Ages 6 to 9 (6:00 p.m.)
Ages 10 to 13 (6:30 p.m.)
Ages 14 to 17 (7:30 p.m.)
Ages 18+ (9:30 p.m.)

Admission is at the gate. Groupons are accepted. Free admission for EBT cardholders is valid for the cardholder (from any state) and up to 5 immediate family members living within the same household as the cardholder. Members of ASTC Passport participating institutions must provide their membership card to receive free admission.
