Piedmont Arts invites the community to celebrate America’s 250th birthday at Happy Birthday, America! Family Day from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m, Saturday, Aug. 8, in the Gravely-Lester Art Garden.
The free, birthday party-themed event will feature fun activities for all ages, including a bounce house, games, DIY party hats, and a red, white, and blue star scratch art craft. Complimentary snacks will also be available.
Happy Birthday, America! Family Day offers families a chance to celebrate the nation’s semiquincentennial through hands-on activities and community fun in a festive outdoor setting.
Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held at Piedmont Arts.
