There are still three more performances of The Shape of Things at TheatreWorks this weekend!!
The Shape of Things by Neil LaBute is a show about boundaries, love, art, and the subjectivity of it all. It follows four characters in a small, college town: Adam, Evelyn, Jenny, and Fiona. Adam is an English major and part-time security guard for the college’s museum, where he meets Evelyn who is an art major. Jenny and Fiona are fellow engaged classmates and friends of Adam’s. The story unfolds over the course of their Spring semester as all four deal with the intricacies of their relationships to and with each other. The play explores themes of comedy, betrayal, social expectations, and just how far someone is willing to go and how much they are willing to change for the person they love.

Auditions for The Foreigner
Trying to forget his marital problems, dull and doleful Charlie Baker takes a fishing-lodge holiday in the Deep South of America, and, to avoid being pestered by the locals, pretends he is a foreigner who speaks no English.
The Foreigner reminds us that we need to laugh and that, sometimes, laughter is all we have in the face of serious, human difficulty.
