What's Happening at SPC?
Farmer's Market - Every Thursday from 4 to 7pm. April 25 will be our first! Still accepting vendor applications. Join us for fresh produce, baked goods, jams, crafts, plants, meat, eggs, and more!
Storytime! - Saturday, April 6th at 10am. This monthly program will include special readers, crafts, and other fun activities related to "Spring is Coming!" Come out and join us for this free program, fit for all ages! No registration needed.
Music Night - Friday, April 12th. Long time favorites, The Slate Mountain Ramblers, will play in Alumni Hall. Gate opens at 5 pm, open jam (and dancing) at 5:30, then the band starts at 6:30 p.m. Admission is a $5 CASH donation. Come enjoy some great mountain music and dancing! Concessions, including our ever-popular Spencer Penn hot dogs, will be sold.
Neighbors in the Know - Every 1st and 3rd Monday at 10 a.m. in the Hylton Library, FREE! We will be closed April 1st for Easter Monday, but April 15 will include a music presentation.
Annual Pig Cookin' - Saturday, April 20th, 10am to 4pm. Join us for some of the best BBQ you can get, children's activities on the ballfield sponsored by VisitMartinsville, a Cruise-In presented by ValleyStar, live music and cloggers, pie eating contest, pig kissing!, indoor and outdoor vendors, and so much more! We are currently accepting vendors and cookers! Contact the Centre for more information.

Barn Quilt Class - Sunday, April 28th at Noon. Must pre-register by Friday, April 19. All supplies are provided.

Summer Camp - Sports, Legos, Taylor Swift, Cursive Writing, STEM, CSI, and many more will be offered in June and July. Registration opens in April on a first come first served basis. Call the Centre at 276-957-5757 for registration information.
