What's Happening at SPC?

Storytime - Saturday, January 6th at 10am.  This monthly program will include special readers, crafts, and other fun activities related to Let's Build It!  Come out and join us for this free program, fit for all ages!  No registration needed.  

Free Estate Planning 101 with Sarah Bridwell - Tuesday, January 9 at 6 to 7pm. Free and open to the public. Pre-register by noon on January 8. 

Music Night - Friday, January 12th.  Hard-driving stringband, Gap Civil, will play in Alumni Hall. Gate opens at 5 pm with the band starting at 6:30 p.m. Admission is a $5 CASH donation. Come enjoy some great mountain music and dancing! Concessions, including our ever-popular Spencer Penn hot dogs, will be sold. The new addition of the Spencer-Penn Opry will begin at 5:30, so if you'd like to join our house band and sing or play a song during this time, be sure to sign up at the front of the stage when you arrive! 

Member Meet-Up - Saturday, January 27th at 10am to Noon. Drop by the Centre between 10 a.m. and Noon and enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack while you chat with our Director about the exciting things happening over the next year, including updates to the membership benefits, the community garden, and much more. Plus, have an opportunity to ask questions and propose new ideas one on one. No registration necessary. Free to all members. 

Kid's Cake Pops Class - Saturday, January 27th at  10am.  Students will learn all about cake pops while they have fun making their own and decorating them. Perfect for ages 6 and up. $10/members and $15/non-members. Limited spots. Must pre-register.

Barn Quilt Class - Sunday, February 18th at  Noon. All supplies are provided.
