May 13, 2025

Summer Adventure Camps
Registration deadlines approaching!

Summer is just around the corner and so, too, are the museum’s Summer Adventure Camps for children ages 6 – 11! From exploring nature, to conducting science experiments, to going behind the scenes to learn how a museum operates, this year’s lineup of Summer Adventure Camps offers a wide variety of unique experiences for your young adventurer to enjoy!

Each week-long camp takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, with optional before and after camp care available. A full camp lineup, with links to online registration, can be found below!

Camp Registration
Each of the museum’s Summer Adventure Camps requires pre-registration at least 2 weeks prior to the camp’s start date. Space is limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis. Registration and payment can be completed online or at the museum box office.

Camp Fees
The fee for each camp is $140/camper, with a $10 discount offered to VMNH Members. Registration fees include a morning and afternoon snack, and cover activities, such as take-home crafts and projects. Campers should bring a packed lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, and insect repellant.

Camp Scholarships
The museum is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships available for its lineup of Summer Adventure Camps. Scholarships will be awarded on a need basis and applicants must meet certain requirements. To learn more, please visit the official Summer Adventure Camps website.
