Join the Martinsville Henry County Historical Society for the opening reception of “Pan-tastic Journey: Cookware through time,” which covers what people of the past have used to put meals on the table (or just around the fire). The reception will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Enjoy homemade old-time and retro hors d’oeurves including cheese straws, blackberry cobbler and syllabub! Members will receive free admission and non-members will be charged regular admission of $10 general; $5 for 65+ and 2-17 and free for infants; memberships also will be available at the door and entitle holders to 1 year of free museum admission.
The exhibit was curated by MHC Historical Society Intern Raylee Wilson, a senior at Ferrum College.
