Weekends are for the boys, and Martinsville-Henry County is the perfect place to spend that valuable comradery time.

Offering action-packed racing since 1947, Martinsville Speedway is NASCAR's most historic and shortest track on the NASCAR Cup Circuit. The track is legendary for its Famous Martinsville Speedway Hot Dog and for the many records that drivers accomplished there. 

Martinsville Speedway will hold the 26th Annual Christmas Toy Drive on Friday, Dec. 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The annual event will welcome the greater Martinsville region to donate an unwrapped toy or $20 for the opportunity to drive laps around the iconic track in their personal vehicles. The Christmas Toy Drive will benefit the Grace Network of Martinsville and Henry County.

As part of NASCAR’s announcement of the 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule, Martinsville Speedway will host the penultimate race of the series’ season on Oct. 30, 2021.

Racing Under the Lights returns to Martinsville in 2021 for three events!

It was all or nothing Sunday for Chase Elliott at Martinsville Speedway in the penultimate NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race, Xfinity 500. In a “must-win” situation to advance to next weekend’s Championship 4 to battle for the Cup title, the driver of the No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro rooted his way to the lead with 44 laps remaining and pulled away for a 6.577-second victory.

Martinsville Speedway expands the 2021 spring race weekend by hosting a NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at night on Thursday, April 8, 2021. This will be the first Modified Tour race at Martinsville since 2010.

Martinsville Speedway will recognize the historic accomplishments of seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson by starting an annual scholarship, Jimmie Johnson Champion’s Award. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a student at one of the Martinsville-Henry County Public High Schools.

NASCAR and WynnBET, the digital gaming division of Wynn Resorts Ltd. that is responsible for Wynn’s mobile sportsbook and casino app, announced today a multi-year national sports betting partnership. As an Authorized Gaming Operator of NASCAR, WynnBET will collaborate with NASCAR to create and promote engaging sports betting experiences for racing fans across the United States.

Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell joins dignitaries as part of pre-race ceremonies for the Xfinity 500 NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race on Sunday, Nov. 1. Campbell, President of Martinsville since 1988, was recently named a Comcast Community Champion of the Year Finalist.

Martinsville Speedway will welcome distinguished dignitaries as part of pre-race ceremonies for the Draft Top 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoff race on Saturday, Oct. 31 and NASCAR Hall of Fame 200 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Playoff race on Friday, Oct. 30.
