This Saturday at The Rives: Victor Wainwright & The Train
Tuesday January 23, 2018
Join us Saturday at the Rives Theatre for our 2018 Opening Party featuring the amazing blues band Victor Wainwright & The Train!
This show is our annual fundraiser and includes catered dinner and open bar (beer, wine, cocktails) with the price of entry. Folks who buy the $125 Season Pass get entry to Saturday's concert, as well as free entry to the six "Season Pass" shows offered in 2018. (Two of them are already booked: Empire Strikes Brass on Feb. 16, and The War & Treaty on April 6).
We also have a limited number of $50 "party only" tickets available. These include Saturday's concert + dinner + open bar, but don't include the 2018 Season Pass. Both tickets are available online, at Rising Sun Breads and at The Daily Grind.
The funds raised by our opening party each year have a direct impact on our ability to bring great bands the rest of the year. Please, please, please consider buying the $125 Season Pass to help Arts at the Rives, a 501c3 nonprofit, bring in awesome acts in 2018!
About Victor Wainwright: Though his career began over a decade ago with genuine rock n roll honky-tonk, Wainwright has broadened his artistic scope over the years to include music representing virtually every corner of the blues. His insatiable interest in music discovery, sheer love for entertaining and curiosity have led him all around the world, and the resulting perspective is a reflection of his passion for entertaining and creating progressive roots music in an effort to move the art-form forward. Composer, producer, vocalist, and award wining entertainer and piano player; Victor Wainwright is a raucous high-octane, dynamic performer and crowd pleaser with soul to spare.
