Music Night at Spencer-Penn Centre is Friday, February 9. Doors open at 5pm. Open MIC is at 5:30, bring your instrument and join the group. At 6:20 The Shelton Brothers will take the stage. The Over The Hill Gang is on at 7:10. The Hard Times Band is on at 8:00. It’s sure to be a great night of music and dancing. Dust off your dancing shoes, grab a friend and come hungry, we will have the heat on. Concessions will be available. Chicken & Dumplings are back on the menu. The duo, Robbie and Betty sing music to help seniors reminisce about their past. The music travels through the big band era, 50’s sock hop, 60’s ballads, country classics, timeless standards and gospel. The audience will recall songs from some of their favorite artists such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Fats Domino, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline and many others. There is no charge for the concert, but donations for the band appreciated.
Join us on February 10th, 11am to 1pm, as we welcome instructor Teedgra Blackstock for an acrylic painting class. This is a two-hour session and everyone doesn’t have to paint the same picture.
