February Happenings at Mountain Valley Brewing

49 Days until Spring!

We're in it now - the wet, dreary and snowless throngs of a very dull winter. Good news is we've got lots of fun and interesting things happening in February, so be sure to keep up with our Calendar of Events!

Barrel-aged Rock Candy was just release and it's definitely a "winter warmer" coming in at an %ABV of 12 plus! Enjoy ONE of this Belgian Abbey Dubbel in the taproom and take some cans home to share with friends or sip by a cozy fire. Third Rail ESB is also on tap; our first brew of this popular style. Third Rail has tons of flavor, caramel and toasty notes with hop bitterness up-front and a malty backbone. Finally, Coyote Call Kolsch is waiting in the wings once we kick our Heavenly Helles off the tap.

Stay Tuned - We are working on some unique and delicious brews for Valentine's Month.

Our Bingo schedule will change just for February, with back-to-back Bingo offered on both the 9th and the 16th. We had an opportunity to host a traveling Nashville artists on February 23rd so we'll have a special Thursday night live music event with Toby Gibson.

Mike Oregano - February 3rd
Truly a unique act, Mike Oregano has fully commercialized both the aesthetic and sonic details of the "One Man Band" concept. Performing in a unique Jazz/Rock/Reggae style, he is sure to turn heads wherever he is jammin’!

Mike uses his feet to hit the drums as well as an array of fully intuitive pedal boards complete with: loopers, bass splits, synthesizers, etc. He records the rhythm (guitar and bass) on the spot, and layers over it live with drums while singing and soloing on his guitar simultaneously.

Riggs Roberson – February 11th
We can't think of anything better than the super-talented soulful music of Riggs Roberson, except maybe listening to Riggs in your most comfy jammies or onesie. Get comfortable, grab your friends and head out for a sun and relaxing night. SuperDogs Hot dogs will be serving all night!

Marie Anderson - February 24th
We always look forward to hosting Marie Anderson at the brewery. She's so super talented and engaging. So come armed with your requests and get ready for a fantastic evening.

The Mountain Valley Winter Dart League is going strong. Let us know if you're interested in jumping in on Wednesday nights. We play every Wednesday night from 6 PM until around 9:30. It's a one-time $10 fee to join (fee gets you a 64 oz. growler and the nightly winner gets a fill on us). All levels are welcome - it's a great way to beat those Wednesday night blues!
