Feel-Good Fridays - June 5th

We all love MHC and we love a feel-good story. This week’s story features Press Glass and Sovah Health.

Press Glass, Inc. of Ridgeway, VA donated intubation boxes to Sovah Health. 

PRESS GLASS Plant Manager Joey Compton explains the initiative. “We wanted to do something to contribute to the COVID-19 situation affecting all of us, and after looking at schematics of intubation boxes, we realized that this was something our team could do. We began contacting hospitals around the North Carolina and Virginia areas to see if there was a need and got in touch with Sovah Health in Martinsville, VA. Our talented maintenance team got to work and assembled 4 glass intubation boxes to be used directly on the front lines for patients undergoing treatment for the coronavirus at Sovah. We were proud to join in the fight the best way we could!”
