Fishing Philpott Lake

Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Philpott Lake, in Bassett, VA is a gorgeous place to visit. The lake is shrouded in natural beauty and breathtaking views. This makes it incredibly easy to visit the lake and take your boat out for a ride without having to worry about packing so much! If you are into fishing, the lake offers great fishing. Fish in the lake include small-mouth bass, large-mouth bass and walleye, Philpott offers fantastic night fishing, also.

Philpott also has annual fishing tournaments that draw many competitors. The tournaments have payouts that make it worth your time to enter the tournaments. These tournaments tend to always be very competitive and exciting.
