Food, Foliage, and Furry Friends

Come see exotic animals, beautiful plants, and sample delicious treats this weekend at the Martinsville-Henry County Visitor Center.

On Saturday, Infinity Acres Ranch will be demonstrating a variety of fascinating exotic and domestic small animals that call their ranch home. Bring the entire family to the Visitor Center from 10 am to 12 pm to experience up-close encounters with new animal friends.

Debbie Belcher of Rolling Meadows Farms will be exhibiting beautiful purse and shoe planters from 1 pm - 5 pm Saturday afternoon. Stop by for a visit and watch as she transforms a variety of plants into gorgeous planters. Some planters will be available for purchase so that you can continue to enjoy the plants at home or in your office.

On Sunday afternoon, Rising Sun Breads will be bringing a variety of delicious treats to sample from 2 pm - 4 pm. All you need to bring is your appetite to enjoy pimento cheese with baguette chips, cookies, biscotti, and more.

These events all take place this Saturday and Sunday at the state-certified Martinsville-Henry County Visitor located at 191 Fayette Street in Uptown Martinsville. As always, these events are free with free parking also available in the Moss Street parking lot.
