Here Comes 2023!

Ring in 2023 with friends at one of our breweries, or start day one off with a tournament, walk, ride, or run. Check out some of the local New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day events happening in Martinsville – Henry County listed below!   

New Year’s Eve

Mountain Valley Brewing is hosting a New Year’s Eve Party! The brewery will open at 8:00 PM. They will have an extended menu to include wine, cider and champagne, plus all the bling and decorations to make for a memorable evening. The big, sparkly keg drop at midnight is a sight to behold! Ring in the new year with Mountain Valley and dance the night away with DJMarks.

Rooskys Bar & Grill is also hosting a New Year’s Eve Party! Rooskys party will feature The League Of Ordinary Gentlemen starting at 8:30pm. 

Come dance the year away at Mountain Valley Artisan Barn's New Year's Eve Party. Enjoy food, drinks and good music. The party starts at 8pm. 

New Year’s Day 

Start your New Year with a First Day Hike at Mayo River Trails, a future Virginia State Park. Join the Rangers on a 1.3 mile hike to check out the new trail system and discover the history of the Native Americans who inhabited the area.

The Henry County Bike Club is having their annual New Year’s Get Outside Ride, Run, or Walk beginning at 10:30am at Chain of Fools Bicycle Shop in Uptown Martinsville. Meet with friends, or come and make new ones, plan your ride, run, or walk. Everyone is encouraged to bring non-perishable items to be donated to the Grace Network.
