Juneteenth Festival 2023: Looking Back and Reaching Forward

In recognition of Juneteenth as a national holiday, the Fayette Area Historical Initiative is excited to announce our upcoming celebration, "Looking Back and Reaching Forward”. The community event will be held at Baldwin Park on June 17, 2023 from 11:00am - 4:00pm. Admission is free to everyone.

Our lineup of entertainers includes The Spiritual Seven, Turn It Up Band, LaMoves Afro Blendz, and MHC Elite Prancerettes! Bounce houses, snow cones, and cotton candy will be available for kids. We currently have Tammy's Grill, Kornna Kitchen, and Hylton's Wood-Cooking Grill as our confirmed food trucks. Stay tuned for an upcoming list of retail vendors!
