Martinsville Speedway Joins Fun At Hendrick Motorsports Fan Fest

Martinsville Speedway has been the site of many of Hendrick Motorsports' greatest successes, so it's fitting that the speedway be a part of the team's 30th anniversary Fan Fest on Friday, May 23.

Martinsville Speedway will have a display set up at the team's Concord, NC, facility and staff members will be selling The Famous Martinsville Speedway Hotdog® and Pepsi products with all proceeds going to the Hendrick Marrow Program.

Fans will also have the opportunity to register to win tickets to the Goody's® Headache Relief Shot® 500 along with purchasing tickets to the October 26 race.

"We are really pleased to be a part of such a big day for Hendrick Motorsports and all of their fans," said Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell. "It's a great way for us to get to visit with fans and at the same time give back through the Hendrick Marrow Program."

Hendrick Motorsports' first win came at Martinsville Speedway in 1984 with Geoff Bodine behind the wheel. The organization has experienced tremendous success at the half-mile oval in the ensuing 30 years, and has notched 21 wins, more than any other team in the 67-year history of the track.

The 2014 Hendrick Motorsports Fan Fest will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May, 23. It will feature an array of free entertainment for the whole family, including activities for children, interactive sponsor displays, food vendors, show cars, live music and question-and-answer sessions with crew chiefs and drivers.
