New Street Parking Regulations in the Martinsville Uptown Business District

If you are visiting the Martinsville Uptown area, you may soon see new parking signs along streets over the next few weeks. The new signs will indicate a two hour limit for Uptown customers only from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. However, parking along streets in this area will not be restricted or enforced outside the posted limits.

Unlimited parking will continue to be available in all public parking lots throughout the Uptown area. These lots are convenient to many area attractions, shopping, and dining locations. The City of Martinsville Police Department will start enforcement of the new time limits on September 1, 2014.
