Storytime - Saturday, October 7 at 10 am. This monthly program will include special readers, crafts, and other fun activities related to Pumpkins Smile, Too! Come out and join us for this free program, fit for all ages! No registration needed.

Storytime at the Pumpkin Patch - Monday, October 9 from 4pm to 7pm. Come enjoy storytime, every hour on
the hour, along with other fun activities, when you come to purchase your Halloween pumpkin at Grace Network Pumpkin Patch in uptown Martinsville! Help support a great cause!

Music Night - Friday, October 13th. Long time favorite, Jus Cauz, will play in Alumni Hall. Gate opens at 5 pm with the band starting at 6:15 p.m. Admission is a $5 CASH donation. Come enjoy some great mountain music and dancing! Concessions, including our ever-popular Spencer Penn hotdogs, will be sold.

Barn Quilt - Sunday, October 15 from 1pm to 5 pm. All supplies are provided.

Zumba! - Mondays and Thursdays at 6 pm. Zumba is back at Spencer Penn! Join Body by Jenise for a great, fun
workout! Drop-in price is $10.

Intro to Computers Class - Tuesday, September 26 and October 3 from 6 to 8 pm. Students will learn
the basics of operating a computer, using search engines, composing emails with attachments, and more! Each participant is welcome to bring their own laptop, but laptops will be provided. Students who have specific questions or needs may submit those when registering by calling the Centre at (276) 957-5757. Cost is $15/members and $20/non-members. Registrations and payments are due by Friday, September 22nd. Instructor, Michael Minter of HCPS.

Sauces and Spices Preservation Class - 2 part class, Saturday, October 21 from 1 to 3pm, and
Sunday, October 22 from 2 to 4pm. Students will learn how to preserve food, with minimal waste, creating sauces and seasonings for use in the kitchen. Students will go home with their own products and will receive a mortar and pestle. All supplies provided. Cost is $40 for members/$45 for non-members. Registration and payments are due by Monday, October 16. Melanie Barrow instructor.
